CTKB on the Road - Part One
Ever wonder what foodies like us do on vacation?

Well. We eat.
And…we cook!
Surprised?
We want to share with you a couple of great cooking-while-travelling stories that have been contributed by Julie Compton and Billie-Ann Woo. Julie took a bread making class during her trip to Paris and Billie-Ann took a chocolate pastries class in Chicago. Both stories were borne out of a passion for food and travel – why not integrate the two of them the next time you are on vacation? Taking a class in an exotic (or different) location gives you access to local ingredients and talent – both ways to get to know your destination a whole lot better. In Julie and Billie-Ann’s cases, their trips were a great excuse to visit a couple of the best cooking schools in the world and take advantage of the materials, equipment and guidance available.
So the next time you’re headed out to…
Thailand – try a class in making your own pad thai!
Atlanta – try a class in making authentic BBQ!
Montreal – try a class in making traditional Quebecois cuisine!
Julie’s Le Cordon Bleu – Bread Making Class
Billie-Ann’s French Pastry School – Chocolate Pastry Boot Camp
