CTKB on the Road - Part Three

Some of the travel memories we carry include photos, trinkets, sunburns and full stomachs. This week we explore our staff’s favourite travel meals. There is something magical about the combination of local food, an exotic local and the freedom of being on vacation. Sometimes it’s in a Michelin restaurant and sometimes it’s on the side of a road in rural China. It’s a combination of senses that create that perfect eating memory: the salty ocean breeze, the sweat on your face, the achy pains after a strenuous hike or the lively mariachi band down the street. All of these elements combine to form a lasting memory that is encapsulated in a meal and as innocuous it may be, it holds a moment in time.
