Canada Day Block Party @ the Waldorf Hotel
Sunday July 1st, Waldoft Hotel (1489 E Hastings St)
A must-visit for any Vancouver foodie – the Canada Day Block Party at the Waldorf Hotel! This event is free and family friendly and runs through the day (12-6pm) and features 9 of the city’s top food trucks, live music, beer garden and a carnival.  The trucks pulling up to the curb include: La Brasserie, Tacofino, Off the Wagon, Re-Up, Mom’s Grilled Cheese and a few other special guests!

Silly Summer Parade and Picnic
Sunday July 1, Parade along Whyte Avenue followed by a Picnic in the Park at the Queen Alexandra School grounds
A celebration of our heritage and Canada Day. There will be a fundraising BBQ, carnival games, entertainment, horse and wagon rides, a baking contest with samples, children's activities, and Free Birthday Cake! Parade starts at noon, and events at the school grounds run till 5pm.
