UBC Joy of Feeding

Enjoy foods from all over the world at the UBC Joy of Feeding event. Tickets are $50 (Vancity customers are 2-for-1, see website for details) and allows you to taste dishes from 16 home cooks of all different ethnic backgrounds. The event also features children’s activities and music. Some of the countries represented include: Sierra Leone, Ghana, Chile, Guatemala, India and Egypt. All proceeds from the ticket sales help the programs at UBC Farm.

Lonsdale Quay Farmers Market

Take the Seabus to visit the Lonsdale Quay Farmers Market. Goodies being offered include organic produce, jams, jellies, salsas, sauces, baked goods, honey and crafts from local artisans. Bring a book to partake in the book swap as well!
